There is less and less left until the release of Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes in Italian cinemas: here is the new official poster and the first preview clip of the film!

Less than a month after its release in cinemas, 20th Century has released a new official poster and a new exclusive clip of Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, the sequel to The War – Planet of the Apes (2017) and the fourth chapter of the Planet of the Apes reboot series, based on the 1963 science fiction novel of the same name by Pierre Boulle. Directed by Wes Ball, the film will be released in cinemas on May 8th. 


New official poster and new exclusive clip of Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes is set several generations after Caesar's reign, where apes are the dominant species living in harmony and humans are forced to live in the shadows. As a tyrannical new ape leader builds his empire, a young ape embarks on a harrowing journey that will lead her to question everything she knows about the past and make choices that will define a future for both apes and humans.

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes stars Owen Teague (It), Freya Allan (The Witcher), Kevin Durand (Locke & Key), Peter Macon (Shameless) and William H. Macy (Fargo). The screenplay is by Josh Friedman (War of the Worlds), based on the characters created by Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver (Avatar: The Way of Water).

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes was produced by Wes Ball, Joe Hartwick Jr., p.g.a. (Maze Runner), Rick Jaffa, p.g.a., Amanda Silver, p.g.a., and Jason Reed, p.g.a. (Mulan), while Peter Chernin (The Planet of the Apes trilogy) and Jenno Topping (Le Mans '66 – The Great Challenge) served as executive producers.
