'The Last of Us 2' is an American survival thriller. The first season of this series, starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, was streamed in 2023. The first season was presented as 9 episodes. The Last of Us Season 2 Story:

So he tries to leave the city to save his daughter 'Sarah'.
Even though the fungus has infected them, they have all turned into zombies and are eating each other like animals. His attempt to save 'Sarah' from their clutches is in vain. Since there is no antidote to the fungus, the entire city is destroyed by bombs dropped by the army to kill those infected. Joel spent 20 years grieving the death of his daughter.
As the dead die due to the fungus, the remaining ones occupy the cities. As a result, the lives of those who have escaped the fungus's clutches become miserable. However, even though a teenage girl named Ellie (Bella Ramsay) is infected with the fungus, it does not pose much of a threat to her. She has immunity to the fungus. So Joel is entrusted with the responsibility of transporting her safely to the 'lab'. The first season is a journey of these two together.

The Last of Us Series Analysis:
The first season is about the journey of 'Eli', who does not know that she has the immunity to survive the terrible fungus. The story of Season 2 is about what happened because 'Eli' was careless, that she would not be in much danger even if she was infected with the fungus. This time, her being away from the hero and not under his supervision is a factor that increases the curiosity of the audience.
Season 1 received a good response worldwide. However, there were unnecessary scenes.. stretched scenes. The way cities.. cities turned into cemeteries due to fungus was depicted very close to naturalness. The locations are related to the mountainous areas where the hero.. Eli travels with them, looking amazing. It seems that the locations will score good marks in Season 2 as well.
Performance:
We see production values that are not inferior to the level of Hollywood movies in this series. The photography.. background music are impressive. Naturally, there is a tendency to stretch in the series. Therefore, it cannot be said that it is a flaw from the editing side. All the artists acted naturally in their roles.
