John Wick is without a doubt one of the most important action characters of recent years: it all began in 2014 when the first chapter was launched on the big screen, the story of a former assassin and killer for hire, now retired for life private. Everything changes, however, when some henchmen of the Russian mafia accidentally kill his dog, the last memory of his wife, who died of cancer. Well, this antihero (with the face of Keanu Reeeves) returns for revenge and never comes back. In the next three chapters, which arrived respectively in 2017, 2019, and 2023, the character has evolved and unfortunately, at least according to what we have seen on screen, he has passed away, finally returning to the arms of his Helen.

John Wick 4 arrived in theaters in March 2023

While the fate of John Wick still seems to be unknown (even if several clues suggest that his death is only apparent) this whole universe has already begun to expand, first with the Prime Video miniseries The Continental which explores Wilson's origins and Charon. The film Ballerina will also arrive later, a sort of spin-off which should still see a cameo from Reeves in the role of Wick (and therefore it should be a prequel). While we try to figure out the next step, Deadline has kindly provided its readers with the script for the film in question, which you can find here.

We remind you that John Wick 4, produced specifically by Lionsgate, Summit Entertainment, Thunder Road Films, and 87Eleven Productions, with the executive production of Keanu Reeves, Louise Rosner, David Leitch, and Michael Paseornek, saw the light in Italian cinemas starting from 23 March 2023 with distribution entrusted in particular to Eagle Pictures, Rai Cinema and 01 Distribution. The cast, however, also saw the participation of Donnie Yen in the role of Caine, Shamier Anderson in the role of Tracker, Laurence Fishburne who plays the Bowery King, Ian McShane in the guise of Winston Scott, Lance Reddick (in his last appearance) who he lends his face to Charon and many others.
